The root section has a transverse passage there through, and the adapter has a pair of side apertures which, when the root section is homed in the adapter, register or substantially register with the passage. The fastener is located within the passage and projects into the side apertures to retain the root section within the tooth socket, the latter being the outer part surrounding the root section which constitutes the inner part.
